The image above is what could someday be the world’s cheapest laptop PC for children.
MIT professor Nicholas Negroponte of One Laptop Per Child (OLPC), is aiming to put a cheap laptop to the hands of the younger generation by working on an upgrade to its so-called XO computer, once known as the “hundred-dollar laptop.”
The revamped laptop named XO-3 is targeted for release in 2012.
